Welcome to WingBuilder!

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”  ~ Howard Thurman

What is Wingbuilder?

Wingbuilder is an place for hope and encouragement.  It is a community of helpers, healers, and heros — heart-centered dreamers who are launching lives they love and serving the world with compassion, creativity, and courage.

A WingBuilder Warrior is someone who has been through trauma and difficulties in life and in rising from grief, pain, and stress has made a conscious choice not to be defeated, but instead to be strengthened by the wisdom gained through overcoming life’s challenges.   A WingBuilder is willing to risk it all to live an amazing life of purpose and passion.

The name Wingbuilder was inspired by a quote from one of my favorite authors, who once said this:

If we listened to our intellect, we’d never have a love affair.  We’d never have a friendship.  We’d never go into business, because we’d be cynical.  Well, that’s nonsense.  You’ve got to jump off cliffs all the time and build your wings on the way down.  ~ Ray Bradbury

I am launching Wingbuilder because I believe that those who lift their hearts, launch their dreams, and love their lives will change the world.  I know this truth deeply because I see it in my own life on a daily basis.  When I am inspired and living my life fully and with passion, my daughter is also inspired to live her life in full creative expression and joy.  When I am excited about my work and creative endeavors, I am also able to inspire those I serve.

We rise by lifting others.   ~Robert Ingersoll
